The initial review took a month, but the re-review after major revisions took nearly 6 months. I didn't have much confidence in submitting to WACE (one initial review, one major revision, then rejection), but I am grateful to Editor Zhang for providing the opportunity. The review process took three months, with a moderate speed. The founding editor-in-chief is Dr. Mannava Sivakumar from the World Meteorological Organization, ensuring a certain level of quality. The editorial board includes professors from Beijing Normal University and Professor Zhai Panmao, making it quite authoritative. It was recently included in SCI with an impact factor of 4.6, showing promising potential.
