Transfer from Nature Water. The journal was established not long ago, with an annual publication volume of around 100 articles. It is a collaborative journal under the Nature umbrella, and it may be troublesome if you have not submitted to the Nature series before. Abandon this journal, I do not recommend submitting to this magazine. If they reject it outright after major revisions, it would save a lot of time, but if both major and minor revisions are rejected in the end, it would be a waste of time.

It took six months for the submission to be reviewed. After two months, major revisions were suggested. After one month of making the revisions, it was sent back. Two months later, minor revisions were suggested. After one week of making the revisions, it was sent back again. After half a month, the result was received, and the manuscript was rejected. The reason given was that the English language proficiency was not sufficient, and the fifth issue raised during the minor revisions was not resolved satisfactorily. Additionally, the abstract figure was not acceptable to the reviewers.

Summary: It was a tiring and anticipated process. However, what matters is the process itself, not just the result.
