I submitted two articles in total. The first one is about freshwater aquaculture fish. Maybe because it was difficult to find reviewers, the progress has been stuck at "under review". The reply from the editor was that one reviewer agreed to review but did not provide any comments. It took four or five months to receive feedback from three reviewers, who gave 21 days for major revisions, although not many additional experiments were needed.
The second article is about zebrafish. The review process was noticeably faster, with feedback received in about a month. The comments were mostly open discussions, and it took 21 days for minor revisions. In the discussion section, I added topics that interested the reviewers.
Overall, I feel that luck plays a significant role in the review process. The two submissions were made almost half a year apart, but both were accepted in the same month
