What does "awaiting reviewer selection" mean? It goes directly to "awaiting decision" from this stage. I don't understand what it means.

This magazine is still cautious. With less than 100 articles, the quality is uneven. The reasons are hard to say. I was rejected once because the size of the illustration was wrong. I didn't feel regretful at all. It's better than waiting for a few months for a rejection again

Submitted on 9.18, accepted on February 11. The paper went through major revisions, and the reviewers were knowledgeable and raised very professional questions. We conducted additional experiments to address them.

The handling editor was very responsible and efficient. The only downside was that the review process was slightly slow, possibly due to being thorough.
