There are many factors that contribute to the slow progress. In the group, there is a classmate working on Expert Systems with Applications, which has been under review for almost two years and is currently at the second round of review. Information Sciences typically takes 3 years to complete. The paper was submitted to the journal on July 10th, and as of July 11th, it is with the editor. It is currently under review with the group on July 21st, with code 5-6-1. On July 23rd, it is under review with code 7-2-9, and on July 26th, it is under review with code 0-7-6.
