It is a dream journal for those who researches on animal behavior ecology. There are only a handful of domestic articles published in this journal every year, which requires high innovation. Both manuscripts submitted to it before were not sent for review due to lack of innovation. However, the impact factor has dropped a little bit sharply in the past two years and it is lower than 3.

Behavioral Ecology is a decent journal with a good reputation in this discipline. Out of the available ecology-oriented journals, this is more of a regional journal with a focus in the field of zoology. The review speed is also fast, and the reviewers are professional and offer insightful comments. From my experience, the review cycle is about 3 months.

is a very good journal in the field of animal behavior, with high quality!Submission is more difficult!
