Overall, they are still quite responsible and communication is fast. It is said that without a strong background, it is difficult to get accepted, but my paper was rejected by JCR reviewers because I couldn't conduct experiments due to the epidemic. However, there is still a risk for urgent graduation, but the time is mainly spent on revisions 1 and 2, and the publication after acceptance is very fast and there is no page fee. The cost-effectiveness is still very high

I deeply regret not listening to the messages left by senior colleagues at letpub. The whole process has been dragging on for nearly a year (the time given on the Elsevier official website a year ago was normal, but has been updated recently, and the official website has also certified the outrageous review time). In the meantime, I have urged many times through various channels such as Elsevier, but the editors have been very irresponsible and casual in terms of inviting reviewers, processing speed, review duration control, revision time, etc., and ultimately rejected the paper. The whole process feels like amateur work, like a small workshop.

The acceptance rate given on the official website is only 4%, which should be deliberately suppressing the number of publications to increase the impact factor. This year, it has also been upgraded to Zone 1 of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the quality of the articles is uneven (I remember seeing articles reviewed in just a few days), so it is recommended to stay away if you do not have a strong background.

(I have been rejected for a long time, not just because of rejection, the above remarks are all very objective, there are many details and information in the middle that are inconvenient to explain in detail for fear of being discovered, so I can only sincerely advise you to listen! Stay away!!!
