At that time, I thought at least major revision would be required, but the editor rejected it. However, it was suggested transferring to ACS Applied Bio Materials. The speed was really fast. The last time I submitted, the news came out in one month. I will consider it in the future.

I recently got one article accepted, which was submitted on January 16. I received the feedback on March 19, and I was given 18 days to modify it. Two reviewers, one focus on materials and one focus on biology. The questions were not particularly easy to answer, especially the review comments from biological direction were more in-depth and professional. Maybe I was not a professionally trained so I did not think about it when I was doing some of the researches. Finally, all the questions were answered in detail and it got accepted 2 weeks later. I am optimistic about this journal. After all, it is owned by ACS, so it can't be wrong.

This journal is a special issue of ACS Biomaterials Engineering. It is mainly biased toward the direction of biomaterials. The review time is very fast, and the later revisions are followed by comments and publication. The journal is relatively new, and the IF is also more than 3. I know that 3 is a dividing line for an article. The journal is relatively new, and it needs articles to expand, so  if you submit your paper early, you have a good chance at being published. Please share your experience of submitting to this journal, it would be helpful for everyone. I submitted to AMI and was asked to transfer to this journal, which I agreed to. However, it took 1 month for the transfer to be processed and for the paper to be reviewed. I was getting anxious as it was in the hands of the editor for a long time, and I wanted to write to the editor but was advised against it by my advisor. I couldn't find any relevant experiences online, so I decided to share mine. Hopefully, this will help others in similar situations to not worry and wait patiently. The one-month period in the hands of the editor included around 10 days with the first editor and 20 days with the next editor. The review process was relatively fast after submission, with three reviewers taking around 40 days and the second review taking about 14 days. That's pretty much it.
