The manuscript was submitted in December, and minor revisions were returned in April. In June, the editor gave some suggestions for revisions. It was accepted in July. The pre-proof version was available on the internet over ten days later, and it was assigned a DOI number. The waiting time was a bit long at first, so I suggest you to try it if you are not in a hurry. The reviewers' comments were quite pertinent and not too embarrassing. I also hope that it will become a Q1 journal as soon as possible.

Submitted on October 12, 2023, and then sent for review. It took a long time to find an external reviewer, and after the first review, we still couldn't find a second external reviewer. After April 4, 2024, there were no updates on the submission status. So, on May 8, 2024, I was really anxious and emailed Elsevier asking why the status wasn't being updated. They helped us contact the journal's editor, and yesterday they replied, rejecting the submission. Really, it took so long! It's so frustrating! And it was open access too! Heartbreaking!
